If the order has been accepted in the order taking app, then the only possibility for the food ordering client is to call the restaurant and see if they are still able to cancel the order. After all, the restaurant may have already started cooking, so a call is the best way to handle this type of situation. We also prompt the restaurant's phone number in the order confirmation like this:
 
 
If the order has been placed as an Order for Later outside of restaurant operating hours, then the customer has the possibility to cancel the order directly, but only before it is pushed to the order taking app. The customer will be able to do this from the email they receive, like this:
 
 
 
If a refund is required, then this should be done via your merchant account.
